Alocasia baginda ‘Silver Dragon’ variegata aurea | Fast EU shipping | Grown with love in the EU | Pet-toxic
Summary: This ultra-rare Alocasia hybrid dazzles with silvery-green dragon-scale foliage streaked with golden-yellow variegation—offering unparalleled beauty and luxury to collector-level plant spaces.
Thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain both silvery sheen and golden variegation. Keep away from harsh direct sun to prevent scorch. Ideal for well-lit corners or glass cabinets.
Keep soil consistently moist—allow top 2–3 cm to dry between waterings. Prefers high humidity (60–80%) to support healthy foliage. Use terrariums, humidifiers, or pebble trays to maintain moisture levels.
Plant in a chunky, well-draining aroid mix (orchid bark, perlite, coco coir). Repot gently in spring every 1–2 years when roots fill the pot to support its dramatic foliage.
Toxic to pets and humans if ingested due to calcium oxalate crystals—keep away from curious cats, dogs, and small children.
Slow to moderate grower. Propagate by rhizome division once mature and rooted—best performed during repotting in spring.
Reduce watering slightly in winter while maintaining humidity. Wipe leaves gently to reveal their silvery sheen and keep variegation crisp and bright.
Prone to spider mites in dry environments—boost humidity and treat with neem oil if detected. Overwatering can cause yellowing or rot; ensure excellent drainage and airflow.
Alocasia baginda ‘Silver Dragon’ originates from Southeast Asia. This special variegated ‘aurea’ form pairs its signature metallic foliage with vibrant golden patches—making it a treasured rare Alocasia among collectors.

My experience at plant circle: I ordered 5 plants, alocasia to Slovenia, but Loco was sold out, they informed me about this and gave me the choice of another plant or a refund, my decision is to get another Frydek plant. The shipment of plants arrived carefully packaged without damage. But the alocasia was not in the package, at first I was disappointed, but the next day I was surprised, DPD delivered and made up for my Frydek plant. I received a notification from plant circle that they forgot to send it in the first shipment and sent it back without any additional costs. plant circle is one of the best indoor plant stores, you deserve a rating of 10 not just 5. Thank you.
Diese Alocasia gefällt mir bis jetzt am besten. Sie hatte kaum Versandstress und sieht sehr schön aus.
Alles perfekt
