Alocasia scalprum | Fast EU shipping | Grown with love in the EU
Summary: This rare Alocasia features narrow, lance-shaped dark green leaves with a metallic sheen, bringing unique texture and elegant verticality to any plant collection.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can tolerate lower light but grows best near east- or north-facing windows without direct sun exposure.
Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. Loves high humidity (60-80%) – mist regularly or use a humidifier for optimal leaf health.
Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix with coco coir, perlite, and bark. Repot every 1-2 years to refresh nutrients and allow root expansion.
Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
Produces offsets (‘pups’) around the base which can be divided carefully during repotting to propagate new plants.
Reduce watering slightly during winter dormancy. Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust and maintain their metallic sheen.
Susceptible to spider mites in dry environments and root rot if overwatered. Monitor for yellowing leaves as a sign of excess moisture.
Native to the Philippines, Alocasia scalprum is admired for its unique sword-shaped foliage and compact size, making it a rare gem for indoor collectors worldwide.

I am genuinely impressed with my Maranta leuconeura—it’s one of the happiest plants in my collection! It arrived healthy and vibrant, with rich green leaves and those signature red veins that make it such a showstopper. But what really blew me away is how quickly it started growing.
The shipping was quick and smooth, and you can really tell the seller took care to protect the plant during transit.
I couldn’t be happier with my Calathea makoyana! It arrived in perfect condition, well-packaged, with no damage to the leaves or soil.
This was my first time ordering a plant online, and the whole experience was smooth and professional. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a statement plant to their indoor jungle.
Perfect little baby plant, already well rooted and pushing new leaves. Arrived timely and in good condition.
