Glossy, elongated-ovate leaves give a neat, tropical look: deep olive-green blades are crossed by a conspicuous carmine–red to pink midrib and lateral veins that create high-contrast patterning without broad cream or white patches. The surface is smooth and reflective, and the overall silhouette stays compact and upright rather than sprawling.

This is a clumping, free‑standing selection that forms a tidy rosette of upright stems and new shoots rather than climbing or trailing. Expect multiple upright leaves from each stem, so the plant fills out as a compact cluster; occasional staking is only needed if a specimen becomes top‑heavy. There’s no fenestration or split leaves—visual interest comes from the coloured venation.

Ownership is straightforward for someone familiar with common Aglaonema behaviour: it prefers medium indirect light, moderate watering and benefits from moderate humidity. One honest trade‑off is toxicity—like other Aglaonema this selection contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals and can irritate pets and people if chewed. It can also react badly to overwatering (root rot risk) and may attract pests such as mealybugs or spider mites when stressed.

Best suited to desks, small tables and compact plant shelves, the plant is offered in a medium P12 pot (approx. 12 cm) at a modest overall height, so you receive a ready-to-display, space‑efficient specimen. As a selected commercial cultivar, its coloured venation is the key selling trait (visually different from plain green Aglaonema modestum and from cultivars with heavy leaf‑surface red or broad variegation).
