- Perfect for minimalist, Scandinavian, or Mediterranean decor

π Light & Placement
Thrives in full sun to bright indirect light. Indoors, place near the brightest window or conservatory. Outdoors, ideal for sunny patios or sheltered balconies.
π§ Water & Humidity
Water when the top 2β3 cm of soil are dry. Prefers low to moderate humidity and dislikes sitting in wet soil. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows.
πͺ΄ Soil & Potting
Plant in a well-draining mix, ideally a blend for Mediterranean or citrus plants. Repot every 1β2 years in spring to accommodate fast root growth and keep it thriving.
πΎ Toxicity & Safety
Toxic if ingested by pets and humans due to essential oils. Keep out of reach of cats, dogs, and small children.
π± Growth & Propagation
Fast grower under optimal light. Can be pruned to maintain desired height and bushiness. Propagation is via seeds or semi-hardwood cuttings, best done in warm seasons.
π Seasonal & Special Care
Rotate regularly for even growth. Prune lightly to encourage bushier form. Protect from frost if kept outdoors in colder regions or move indoors during winter.
π Common Issues
Generally pest-resistant but can develop root rot if overwatered. Ensure pots have drainage holes to prevent soggy soil.
𧬠Botanical Background
