Summary: Delight in the stunning pink-edged leaves of Hoya Flamingo Dream—a vibrant, low-maintenance beauty that thrives in bright Europe-home light and perks up any room.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid scorching midday sun—morning or afternoon light near east/west windows is ideal for European homes.
Water generously during growth (spring–summer), allowing top 2 cm of soil to dry in between. In winter, reduce watering to once a month. Loves higher humidity—consider a pebble tray or bathroom placement.
Use a well-draining mix (e.g. orchid bark + peat + perlite). Repot every 2–3 years or when root-bound, gently teasing roots.
Non-toxic and safe for pets and children—friendly to your whole household!
Part of the ‘carnosa’ species family, Hoya Flamingo Dream is cherished for its variegated foliage and starry summer blooms, though blooms are rare indoors. It hails from tropical Asia and adapts beautifully to indoor living.
